Are payments using bitcoin completely anonymous? Is there any way a person can track who you sent the money to?

I think yes but the irony is that despite being anonymous, they are based on blockchain which is a public ledger.

depends how muchh you do to keep safe, if u link an address to something in real world… no.

Bitcoin and its blockchain system is pretty public. But there are anonymous crypto options out there like XMR.

You wallet address is public. They can track that. But your personal data will be anonymous.
In fact, the exact opposite… if you try to do an anon BTC transaction and start researching about it on the internet, you will realize this is actually VERY difficult now!
