Why are banks getting excited about Ethereum?

With Ethereum 2.0 just around the corner, banks could one day be key participants.

The network’s proof-of-stake (PoS) overhaul provides rewards, like getting interest on your deposits. And, at a time when yields in traditional savings vehicles remain are falling, investing in Ethereum may look like an attractive position.

Sygnum, a digital asset bank based out of crypto-friendly Switzerland, is now offering Ethereum 2.0 staking. Global banking giant Goldman Sachs is also expanding its crypto trading options with Ether.

Who will be next in line? Why is Ether becoming a more interesting proposition than Bitcoin?

Banks have to be key participants. Bitcoin, Ethereum – all of these guys are trying to make money more accessible. It’s about financial inclusion.

They can either get on board, or get left behind.

ETH will be as common as 4G in your phone in 2025 - them banks got no choice but bag in some!
